Chatham park is 6 miles south of the Walt Disney Resort area, just off the main highway 192 in Kissimee. Most other area attractions such as Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet n Wild and the new Islands of Adventure, are some 20 minutes away. There is an abundance of golf courses and in the land where you can shop till you drop, there are numerous shopping facilities and beautiful malls within easy reach. The Kennedy Space Centre and Gulf Coast beaches are less than an hours drive away.

Chatham Park is a small peaceful select estate with private security patrols, no through traffic  and it's own private lakes and conservation area for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. It  offers tennis, basketball and volleyball courts for your use and a large communal pool. All this  yet it still has the convenience of being literally a two or three minute drive from the 192  highway and all it's attractions. Other developments may be cheaper, but have far less facilities  and are invariably farther afield with holiday time being wasted in a car travelling to restaurants  etc and that can mean the difference between a "nice time" and a "great holiday" especially where children are concerned.

For guests who have been to Florida before, we are preaching to the converted, but for the newcomers, your tastebuds are in for a treat. There are some 2,000 restaurants in the area, all offering huge portions at low prices, and good service comes as standard. A few of our favourites are Cracker Barrel, The Outback and for excellent family value, The Golden Corral, where for one low price, you can eat as much as you like. If you want to go a little more up market there is the Olive Garden the Macaroni Grill or the Red Lobster for fish lovers.

Florida is also a golfers paradise. Whichever course you choose to play there are no handicap certificates required and a golf buggy comes as standard! Our home is within a few minutes of several outstanding courses.
